300 banned Airlines

European air safety authorities have always been conscious over the enforcement of various laws and regulations over various international air carriers using European Air Space.

About 300 airliners were banned to use European airspace by European air safety authorities. Iran Air was on the top to be restricted to use the European air space.

Some of the banned air lines are appended below:

• Ariana Afghan Airlines,
• Siem Reap Airways International from Cambodia,
• all Philippine airlines

The Spokesman of authorities told that they could not afford to compromise on air safety, where they had evidence that air carriers were not performing safe operations and failed to enforce safety standards.

The European Commission had announced it had placed an additional carrier from Suriname, South American country lies between French Guiana and Guyana to its banned list.

Blue Wing Airlines, a Suriname air carrier, had a series of accidents and serious deficiencies found during inspections of its aircrafts were also banned.

Almost all Indonesian airliners had already been banned by the said authorities. However, two Indonesian air companies, Metro Batavia and Indonesia Air Asia, has recently been removed from the list. Seven Indonesian air carriers are also allowed.
This ban might be seen negative by the authorities of all banned air carriers but it is worth appreciating that European Air Space authorities is interested to the enforcement and implementation of the rule and regulations.
